Chestnut brown strap

Single layer of hard veg tanned hide. A firm and flexible blade that is definitely  very strong and stingy, and can land with some force.

This is provided by the shaped handgrip. This has been made from a single stiff leather strip, with the handle formed by glueing and bolting double layers of leather , bolted and screwed and to provide a very firm and solid grip. 

Its appearance is that of wood, but this is due to the burnishing received to create the hard and shiny look.
